Targeted Learning Corporation, in association with the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and OfficeTeam, continue the tradition of this annual event. Held the day before Administrative Professionals Day (April 22nd), the 2008 Annual Briefing for Administrative Professionals, now in its 21st year, is the only LIVE satellite and web training event devoted to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of administrative professionals to the workforce. The 2008 Briefing is featured as part of the Administrative Professionals Channel, an online learning solution designed exclusively for administrative professionals (see below for additional information).

Tim Sanders on Emotional Talent: The Final Frontier

In her presentation, Connie Podesta will explain the complex world of people and relationships and help you achieve the success you desire, the happiness you seek and the quality personal and professional life you deserve. About the Presenters:
Tim Sanders
Tim Sanders is an irrepressible advocate for good values in the business world. His first book, Love is the Killer App, showed how people who share generously can achieve professional success. It became both a New York Times and international bestseller. His second book, The Likeability Factor (Crown, April 2005), explores four aspects of likeability that you can measure and improve-- friendliness, relevance, empathy, and realness.
Prior to becoming a senior member of the Yahoo! management team, Tim Sanders developed audio and video broadcast ventures for broadcast.com's Business Services Division. There he was responsible for the legendary Victoria's Secret fashion show webcast, and worked with a variety of clients including Harvard University, Dell Computers, Intel and Ford Motors.
Connie Podesta
Connie Podesta is a leading international speaker, trainer, consultant, educator and Licensed Professional Counselor who has spoken to more than 2 million people in the last 25 years. She is the author of three books: How To Be The Person Successful Companies Fight To Keep, Life Would Be Easy If It Werent For Other People and Self Esteem and The Six Second Secret. Connie is an expert in the psychology of human behavior and provides entertaining and multi-faceted presentations which captivate and involve her audiences. Connie combines her business expertise with her diverse talents as a comedienne, author, Licensed Professional Counselor, and radio/TV personality to inspire her audiences to reach new heights in their personal and professional development. Connie is also a Board Certified Professional Counselor and a member of the American Psychotherapy Association.
Judy McCoy CPS/CAP
Judy McCoy is the 2007-2008 International President of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). McCoy is Administrative Manager and co-owner of Camtec Precision, Inc., a manufacturing firm in Bellingham. She joined IAAP in 1993 and is currently a member and past president of the IAAP Bellingham Chapter. She has also served in numerous leadership roles for IAAP's Washington-Alaska Division and Northwest District. Among McCoy's IAAP awards and recognitions include two consecutive Distinguished Chapter President awards, Division Member of the Year, Outstanding Division President in Membership, and Outstanding District Director in New Chapter Building. She attained an AA Degree from Fullerton Community College and attended Western Washington University where she focused on accounting and computer science.
Diane Domeyer
Diane Domeyer is executive director of OfficeTeam, the world's largest specialized temporary staffing service for administrative professionals. In this role, she manages operations for the more than 300 locations worldwide. OfficeTeam places tens of thousands of highly skilled candidates each year into positions ranging from executive and administrative assistant to receptionist and customer service specialist.
Domeyer joined the company in 1992 as a division director in the Midwest region. She later assumed roles as field consultant, national training director and vice president and executive director of technology strategy for OfficeTeam's parent company, Robert Half International.
In addition to authoring a monthly column for OfficePro® magazine, Domeyer is a regular guest on "ABC News Now." She is a noted expert in the administrative field and is a frequent speaker on employment trends and job search and career management strategies.
